To all of us the term Nostalgia invokes pleasant memories of the past especially childhood or growing up in the countryside surrounded by open landscapes, hills, rivers, animals – all of nature in its splendour and in the midst of this people going about their everyday lives and childhood friends who have helped mould you into the special person you are today.

 

The big city life is a constant rat race offering very little time to throwback your thoughts to this wonderful time of your life.  Nostalgia, a happy place, hopes you will pause and allow your senses to visit this familiar past – reminisce – to be nostalgic. While nostalgia is often defined as sentimentality for the past, it can also have a positive effect when it uses our past to generate self-awareness and realisation.
